topsy-turvy on my bed just reading

THIS IS A LATE POST. actually, almost all of my post here happened weeks or months before, but what the hell. Anyway, this huge pile of books are the books i bought (mom bought) during our Christmas break, last year (DUH!). honestly, i was never able to finish reading them all during the break because i was also doing other extra curricular activities (i shall post that) during the break, but i read most of the time. Right now, i'm finishing the last book which is George R. R. Martin's A Game of Thrones.

The reason i got this huge pile of books was because whenever we go to different malls , different bookstores, i always ask for The Hunger Games, 'cause i really want to finish reading the book before the movie release. Unfortunately, all the bookstores that we visited were out of stock and my mom would feel sorry for me and would allow me to pick a different book. so YAY books!

I still want that Hunger Games though. i shall not hunting!

No comment yet because i'm still reading this book.

Unlike his other books, this one is not that heart wrenching,
but it is still filled with 'why do you keep on misunderstanding each other,
can't you see that both of you are in love with each other' moments. teehee

This book is the sequel of the book above.
This books is full of doubt in a marriage that happened so fast.
SO KIDS, DON'T MARRY SOMEONE WHO YOU MET
JUST RECENTLY. hahaha. kidd.
But yeah, it was kind of weird and all.

If he is a Bob Ong wanna be, then screw him.
This books contains a very sarcastic and ironic point of view of life.
How the rich gets richer and how the life of poor people is shit as hell
but they can still manage.
i got bored with this book and the worst part of the books was that i think
there are parts were he was trying to be funny, but it's just so rotten. I'm sorry.

This books is mind fvck.
I seriously love this book because even if he is in his teen years,
the way he writes his letter to that someone, there is still this
innocence.
the way he narrated the things happening around him is honesty.
He didn't used words that would impress the receiver and he was deeply troubled
and yet, he didn't know that he was.
awesome book.

I was completely overwhelmed describing the book before this that i forgot what this book was all about. I shall google it now to refresh my memory and i will get back to you as soon as i'm finished.

according to my research:
Gossip Girl meets Dynasty in Bagshawe's compelling sequel to the late Sydney Sheldon's Master of the Game (1982), which chronicled the sticky power struggles of the Maxwells, America's richest family. A new generation of Maxwells includes Eve, an evil temptress brutally scarred by her controlling cosmetic surgeon husband, and her identical twin sister, Alexandra, an angel in comparison. Alexandra dies giving birth to a daughter, Lexi, while Eve survives the birth of her son, Max. Eve plots to take back the family's business empire, rearing Max to hate and, at age 10, kill his father. Lexi's father, Peter, and her big brother, Robbie, surround Lexi with love, but she's traumatized at age eight when she's kidnapped and raped. Years pass as Lexi and Max square off, while across the ocean “the most famous barrister in London” embarks on a quest that will eventually lead him to Lexi, but not without many shocking twists. Bagshawe (Adored ) expertly channels Sheldon's lurid, feverish prose. (Aug.)

Y U NOT TELL ME THIS IS A SEQUEL?! gah.
all i remember in this book was that she really wanted to take revenge for kidnapping her and was in pain when she found out that the person who raped her was long dead.
poor thing.

FUNNY STUFF: need i say more? it's Kikomachine for Christsake.

Felt overwhelmed 'cause reading this made me reminisce my childhood year.
I read sweet valley high and sweet valley university kasi, and that happened. I thought i'd never see Elizabeth Wakefield so angry and heartroekn at her sister, and I thought i'd never see Jessica Wakefield not lusting for a blue-eyed actor-ish person.

reading this, i say, I KNOW THE FEELINGS, MARE.

hahaha. how I wish. I don't, actually. when i was a kid, i've always wanted to be a princess but reading this made me realize how they live like a prisoner, only 10x more dressed and stays in a well furnished prison, but they aren't even comfortable. They can never be comfortable. The story made me experience a life of royalty and its drawbacks.

Love this book. Read the Red Queen too! It's the story of Margarette Beaufort.
